Are You Stuck in a Rut?
Are You Sick Of Starting & Stopping, Over & Over Again?
Did you know that most people who get a flood of motivation to start working out usually quit within 2-3 weeks?
Whether you work out at home or like to go to the gym, trying to motivate yourself to stick with it and knowing what types of workouts will actually get you to your goals is extremely difficult. It's true, think about all of the times you've said....
I'm going to sign up at the gym and start going next week, but not until after this weekend because I have all this stuff going on.
And you might go that first Monday, maybe it turns into tuesday, but by the second week, you've gone maybe 1-2 times and if you even make it to the 3rd week, you end up doing a quick 15 minutes on the eliptical or wandering around the machines because you've really just lost interest and you want to go lay on the couch with your favorite blanket.
Why You Need Me As Your Coach / Motivator
Did you know that I run free & paid challenge groups on Facebook? Yeah, that place where you spend 18% of your day anyways.
What are they? They are accountability groups with men & women just like you who want to start losing weight, getting stronger, losing that cellulite, find their butt or stop feeling so damn tired and unmotivated.
What do I do? I teach proper nutrition and portion with meal ideas and recipes for every type of meal and occasion (yes even happy hour). It's NOT A DIET, it's the way we are supposed to be eating by eating more whole foods, cutting out the preservatives and realizing how much we should be eating, so that when we workout, we aren't trying just to maintain our weight by sweating off 1/4 of that greasy cheeseburger you ate but moving forward toward your goal.
I also require you to check-in daily with your workout and every now and then with what you're eating. Belive it or not but having a group to support you and get ideas from instead of cruising through Pinterest is SERIOUSLY helpful!
Did you know that working out for 30 minutes every day helps reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease, can help lower choesterol and boost energy? Did you know that if you workout in the morning that you'll burn more calories all day long?
I've had SOOOOO many clients teeter totter with getting on board with a program or eating healthier because it's a lifestyle change and that can be scary or even annoying. I promise you that they all had the same doubts & fears you have but looking back they wish they had started sooner. Let me teach you what took me years to learn in just a few short weeks.
It takes 21 Days to make or break a habit.
That's right, just 3 weeks to do a 180.
Does that mean you'll hit your goal in 3 weeks? Maybe, maybe not, it depends on what you're looking to do.
Do me a favor, use the button below to sign up with me FOR FREE as your coach.
You'll gain access to one of my free fitness & clean eating groups so you can see for yourself what all the hype is about.

I wasn't always into fitness.
Sometimes we have to travel the path that scares us the most in order to feel alive
Confession: I wasn't always into fitness....
Yup, those dreaded 5 words that I try and hide like a stained shirt. "I wasn't always into fitness".
How can I admit that to people?! Aren't I supposed to be the poster child for what a healthy lifestyle is?! Won't that make me look like a fraud?
The answer is simple. No. No, it won't. It will do quite the opposite.
You see, I've had diagnosed asthma since I was 9 years old.... I never wanted to run, or play too hard and while working out at the gym seemed like a fun idea for the first few times, let's be honest.... I would keep paying that monthly membership and NEVER GO.
I ended up losing like 15 pounds before my wedding because my dress was getting too tight ::insert squeezing session here:: and all I did was watched what I ate and did a fast paced walk twice a day. Well, sorry to say that amount of activity quickly became enough to just maintain my weight, but not lose any. You see, with my first child, I did the usual "I can eat what I want and lose it after the baby comes" song and dance but let's face it.... It didn't come off.... and I was not feeling pretty to say the least. Being thin or muscular aren't everything, I get that, but I didn't feel like the happy, energetic, sarcastic person I was used to. I had this beautiful new baby boy who I loved more than life itself but I felt embarassed when people would ask me if I was still pregnant and I was SICK OF WEARING MATERNITY CLOTHES, 4 months post pardum.... Yeah, that was me.
It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter that I started to watch what I ate more, in effort to not add another 50 pounds onto what I was already carrying around. People would tell me, "Oh it's fine, you're pregnant, you look great, or I would love to be your size instead of mine". While I appreciated the sentiment, "to each their own". What felt good to one persons skin, felt foreign and unwanted to mine, it all travels down stream from one person to another.
I had my daughter and only gained 37 pounds instead of the 55 that I gained with my son. I lost a good portion of it after having her but there was that nasty weight that I had when I first got pregnant with her. Oh hey you.... still around, eh?
I tried A LOT of things and yeah, I would lose a little bit of weight with each one, maybe gain a little back in between and it was SO FRUSTRATING!!!! Why was this so hard? It used to be so easy to drop weight. I used to be able to limit fast food to once a day and lose a few pounds.... where was that girl at?
Reality.
Those were past times and bad habits and now I was paying for them. I need to move on.
I used to dread fitness.... the thought of constantly having to work out was awful and felt like a chore. It wasn't until I started running that I actually found a desire to be active.... Ok, it turned more into an obsession, but a healthy one where I would compete against myself to be better for myself and my family. My kids, family & friends started to notice and I was able to get others started on a similar path. This was all before BeachBody so I had no compensation for helping people other than the self worth. As a joke, they would all call me coach but in a way they actually kind of saw me as their coach because I would check-in on them and motivate them to keep trying when they wanted to quit.
When I started the BeachBody workouts, I was also on and off trying some in person group fitness classes just to mix things up. I really liked being able to get the same level of difficulty from my dvd's that I did at the classes. I really liked being able to save time and at a moments notice throw on a tank top and shorts to get a quick workout in. I still went for a run or jumped in on a group class when time allowed but I wasn't dependent on it to stay/get in shape like I used to be.
Although I teeter tottered on signing up for about 3 months, becoming a BeachBody Coach was a no brainer for me. I was already unofficially "coaching", motivating others even if that was just because they would see my facebook posts with my mileage and time or 30 minutes of circuit training, etc. I believed in the product because I was PROOF OF THE PRODUCT and it opened up a whole new world of possibilities.
So am I ashamed to say I wasn't "ALWAYS INTO FINTESS"? Nahhhh.... everyone has to start somewhere at some time and it doesn't matter what age or stage in your life you start at, as long as you start and you let it change you for the better. Fitness & Nutrition isn't just about losing weight, it's about creating this awesome healthy body that feeds the mind & soul with happiness and confidence.

4 Week Accountability / Challenge Group Underway!
Another 4 week Accountability group is under way!
I really LOOOOOOVE these groups, I really do. Everyone participating is so motivated and if they ever start to slip there are dozens of people to lift them back up. Not only does it help them, but it helps me too! I'm a coach and yes, I am a motivator and a fitness & nutrition "tour guide" but I'm only human and soemtimes I need a little pick me up!
This round, I have a contract that I required each person to sign. It's a contract between themselves and the agreement their mind & body made to stay on track with clean eating as well as their workouts! It allows them to look back at the contract and remember why they started and how they don't want to spoil the committment.
Along with the contract, I also have a workbook full of activities for them to complete to in a sense scrapbook their journey so they can see how far they've come. Uplon completion of these activities and daily check-ins, they have the opportunity to win a prize for being AWESOME!
Just like an employer would reward their employees for doing well, I want to do the same for my clients. They are all extremely important to me and I want to give them some extra incentive to keep pushing hard!
Full. Speed. Ahead.

Working Out At The Gym vs. Working Out At Home
Ok, so it's 5:30 am and you're trying to do the "No-arm roll" out of the bed, as if it's an attempt to not wake the rest of your body before it figures out what you're doing.
Alright, gotta do a quick brushing of the teeth, wash my face, bathroom Check! And then ughhhhhhh no gym bag packed because you passed out on the couch binge watching Orange is the New Black or the entire season of Eureka....
While you're stumbling around in your room with your cell phones flashlight because the room light would probably make your eyes melt this early, you trip over those Target bags you swore you would unpack only to jab your toe on the foot of the bed.... OUCH.
Ok, we're at the dresser, awesome.... "Ughhhh, WHERE ARE MY NIKE SHORTS?!?!" you have a razor back tank or sleeveless t-shirt ready but where are your shorts?! Whatever, these'll do....
Socks, ok, yup, not a single matching pair, who cares, at this point you're running late anyhow. Shoving everything into your gymp bag that still has sweaty socks in it.... yuck
Whoops, can't get to the gym in your pajamas.... back to the dresser.... oh hey again.
Ok! I'm heading towards the door and.... water bottle, can't go without that because you know they charge like $3 for one at the gym.... Oh wait and a headband/sweatband because you know once that hair starts falling into your face, your workout is just a fight between you and those strangs of hair or beads of sweat.
Ok, good to go.... out at the car....
Brrrrrrr "I'm ok without a jacket, I am" "Where are my keys?!?!"
::back into the house::
I think I put them right on the counter.... nope.... oh wait, they're in yesterdays jeans, ok.... upstairs, then downstairs.... out. the. door.
"Man, I really need a remote start it's going to take 5 minutes to get this stupid windshield defrosted."
Moving along.... you're finally at the gym, you're only 25 minutes later than you needed to be so let's just cut out abs today, who needs those anyways.... go into the locker room, change your clothes, shove that giant duffle bag into the locker and go!
"Well, all the treadmills are taken except for the one that isn't under the fan so that'll get hot.... I'll try the elilptical.... oh yeah, I don't like the eliptical", 3 minutes later....
Now you're aimlessly wandering around looking for a machine to get onto, unknowingly just having spent 5 minutes in between just to walk around and waste time. "What parts does this machine hit? I put my legs where? Wonder if I should use 8's, 10's or 15's for this set.... Wonder what she used to get her butt like that.... Duuuuude those biceps tho...."
So in total you've worked out for maybe 15-20 minutes and it's time to hit the showers.... why did I get up early again?
STOP USING THE GYM AS YOUR GO-TO....
What do I mean by that? Should gyms go out of business? No, of course not but use it as your in between to change things up....
Let's rewind for a minute.... From the time you get up and get done at the gym, on average you will have spent 1.5-2 hours for that 20 minute workout that hardly make you break a sweat and may have hurt your back trying to get off that bench.
Who has time for that and who WANTS to go through all that on a daily?
I don't care if you're a stay at home mom, working mom, stay at home dad, working dad, single professional, in school, whatever your story is, wouldn't you want to get it all done in 30-60 minutes at home? I jump out of bed throw on my workout clothes and head downstairs, turn on the t.v. (no this isn't like richard simmons)
and sweat it out with programs like Insanity, BodyBeast, 21 Day Fix, CIZE, PiYo and so many others....I feel like I'm in a group class, no driving, no bag to pack, nada. Then, when I'm done, I run upstairs to get ready and still ahve time to enjoy that morning cup of coffee or Shakeology.
Whether you're a body-builder, yoga finatic, bootcamp cardio & strength junky or you like zumba, there's something for everybody, I promise you.
Stop running into the bed in the morning and packing that smelly gym bag, let's GET IT DONE in 30.... who's with me?!

What's this Shakeology Stuff All About?!
I'm sure you may have heard about this drink called Shakeology....
Maybe? Yes? No?Anyhow, whether you do or you don't, Shakeology is packed full of your daily super foods, vitamins and protein that you probably won't get even having the best meals around....
Plus the expense.... O M G, I'm not paying $400 at the grocery store just to buy all of the ingredients that come in one scoop of Shakeology.
What's in Shakeology?
Protein and Essential Amino Acids to help build muscle and reduce food cravings*
- Help build and repair muscles
- Reduce hunger and food cravings
- Promote healthy skin, hair, and nails
- Chocolate and Greenberry Shakeology include whey protein isolate, an easily absorbable source of high-quality protein that's ideal for building and maintaining lean muscle mass. Tropical Strawberry and Vegan Chocolate include high-quality plant proteins from brown rice, pea and other sources. Essential amino acids, found in these proteins, help the body repair muscle tissue and heal wounds; and reduce hunger pangs. The protein in all Shakeology products provides a highly bioavailable source of essential amino acids.
Want to try a sample?
Get It Now >>Prebiotics, Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, which aid in improving digestion, regularity, and nutrient absorption*
- Aids digestion
- Support a healthy intestinal tract
- Increase absorption of nutrients
- Shakeology contains many ingredients that are beneficial to the digestive system.
- Prebiotics, natural components of certain plants, help support the "friendly" bacteria in your digestive tract.
- Probiotics are strains of live good bacteria that help with the digestive process. They assist the body in absorbing nutrients and minerals, bring an overall balance to the digestive tract, and help support the immune system.
- Digestive enzymes, from sources such as pineapples and papayas, help your body break down food into its individual components, making the nutrients easier to absorb.
Adaptogens
- Help promote a strong immune system
- Help increase energy
- Help protect the body from stress
- Help balance endocrine hormones and the immune system
- Adaptogens are special herbs that grow in harsh climates and conditions, at high elevations, atop mountains where the soil is rocky and oxygen in the air is thin. Because these plants have to adapt to harsh conditions, they have highly concentrated nutrients that can help your body cope with stress, provide energy, and maintain a strong immune system. Shakeology has a total of 9 adaptogens. Which is more than any other shake out there.
Antioxidants and phytonutrients (plant-sourced ingredients) may help maintain health*
- Help neutralize harmful free radicals
- Help decrease inflammation
- Help maintain the immune system
- Potentially decrease the risk of degenerative diseases
Many of Shakeology's fruit and vegetable sources have been chosen for their high concentration of healthy natural substances known as phytonutrients, including flavonoids, polyphenols, anthocyanins, and catechins. These substances have antioxidant properties, meaning they help neutralize molecules known as free radicals, which damage cells and may contribute to the aging process. In laboratory tests, phytonutrients have shown promise in helping prevent a wide variety of degenerative conditions.
23 Vitamins and Minerals your body needs to function for optimal health*
- Get a wide range of essential nutrients
- Get your necessary vitamins every day
- Make up for dietary deficiencies
Most of us don't get the complete range of essential vitamins and minerals in our daily diets. Some important vitamins, such as vitamin C and the B vitamins, are water-soluble, meaning they're flushed out of your body after a short time and need to be replenished regularly. Others, like vitamin E, can be difficult to get enough of in food. Shakeology Chocolate and Greenberry provide all these nutrients in an easy-to-take form, so you never have to worry. (Tropical Strawberry and Vegan Chocolate do not have the vitamin and mineral ingredients added.)

My Story....
So I know physical appearance isn't everything and we need to make sure that we don't constantly get down on ourselves for not looking a certain way and especially not comparing our reflection against anyone else's. We are all on our own journey, we are all different and we can't expect to be someone else.... we can be a better version of ourselves but we can't ever be just like someone else and we shouldn't want to. We are who we are and we should embrace it because each one of us has a star quality and we need to let it shine.
Now that I got that off my chest.... I also want to say that while physical appearance isn't everything, a picture is worth a thousands words....
What I mean by that is the picture you see below is me, 5 years ago.... I DO NOT look happy.... it's not just because I was still carrying around that baby weight, it wasn't because of anything superficial.... it was a 360 degree ball of frustration, sadness, happiness, hope, hopelessness and everything else in between. I was a mom of 2 amazing little babies and my husband and I had a nice home with good friends. Something was missing.... ok, a lot was missing....
I started running a little (insert short version of my asthma girl troubles here.... the end) and it wasn't anything to write home about but I was getting my butt off the couch and doing something.... it started to help.... then after my running really took off after a year or 2, I kept hearing how I need to be cross & strength training.... hello crossfit.... woah - too much, too fast, I hurt my back.... then I turned to Insanity, took a local circuit training class here and there, I loved it! Not only did I get a killer workout in but I felt good and posting about it in my "online diary" (aka FaceySpace) made me feel even better.... I wasn't looking for compliments but they were coming and I ingested everyone, using it as fuel to keep pushing.
Ok, Ok, I'm signing up for more races and my family is telling me that between running & circuit training, I'm not spending enough time with them.... {enter T25} Getting it done in 25 minutes a day?! Don't mind if I do....
I have arthritis in my knees {hold negative feedback about running, I know, I know} and any jumping really just made it worse so I was happy to follow Tania the on screen modifier during those parts of the workout....
First came T25 Alpha, then Beta, then Gamma then back to Alpha again.... I really liked it but it was time to move on....
I hadn't really heard much of anything about coaching other than what they had at the end of the workouts on the DVD's.... yeah, ok, I do these workouts but I'm not a fitness expert.... MOVING ON!
So then a friend of mine tells me about how she's a BeachBody coach....
you are?
She goes on to tell me that she's been watching my posts about Insanity & T25 on top of my running experience and "go getter" attitude and that I would make a great coach....
Awesome! Let me roll around in that compliment for a min
Alright, I'm going to DO THIS! I want to try Shakeology anyways so, I'm all in!
.... Wait, it's how much for a challenge pack?!.... $160?!?! Ummmm no thanks
I instantly decided, ok, not for me, this is crazy, why do I need to pay that much to be a coach??? Or I could pay $40 and get what, nothing? A couple of weeks went by and I kept thinking about it so I asked a few more questions about using protein powders instead of Shakeology because of how $$$$ it was and I got this whole thing about how Shakeology isn't just a protein drink, that's just an ingredient.... it's a meal replacement drink with TONS of super fruits, vegetables & vitamins that no matter how well we eat.... we don't get enough.... Ok, thanks for the sales pitch.... still waiting....
A couple of months went by and I had thought about coaching off and on, really not sure what to do.... I was already doing so much in my life, did I have time for this???
Ya know what.... the heck with it.... I'm going to sign up, I need a new workout anyways and I sold some stuff on craigslist and I have the money, it's go time....
I ordered the 21 Day Fix because I still wasn't quite happy with my weight and thought my nutrition might have something to do with it.... PLUS I would get a months worth of Shakeology, one of those sweet little Shakeology mixing cups and my coaching account was FREE.... BOOOOYAH!
That was probably the longest week ever.... FINALLY got my package and I was like a kid at Christmas.... This was the day I start this new thing called coaching.... what I didn't know was this was also the day I started paying my body back for allowing me to do what I do by replenishing it with all of these fruits and vitamins.
First shake down.... omg was that dessert? I ordered Strawberry to start because I was a huge fan of something citrus yet sweet after a workout.
I started on the 21 Day Fix and loved it.... even after Insanity I was super sore because I was working new muscle groups but the movements were sooooo managable {fast forward my 69 year old mother is following the modifier and doing them}. The Shakeology kept me super full, energetic, sleeping REALLY WELL and it helped reduce soreness, I know this because I went a couple days without it and well.... No Bueno....
I lost just over 9 pounds the first round and the inches were countless.... my mid-section SHRUNK and I finally could really see that hourglass shape that everyone talks about.
Man it feels good to be a Gangster{anyone seen Office Space.... anyone?!}
The eating plan was SUPER SIMPLE to understand, didn't take me a lot of time to meal prep, no crazy ingredients, my grocery bill DIDN'T go up, it actually went down and everything was super tasty and interesting. My coach and her fellow coaches kept me inspired with new recipes to try. The Shakeology replaced 1 whole meal and yeah I paid for a whole month of meals so to speak at once but it came down to $3 a meal for each shake.... that's SO CHEAP!!!! Cya Panera & Wendy's
Now this girl is HAPPY!
So again, fast forward some time because a day by day would result in a double stacked novel here.... I did 2 more rounds and lost some more weight each time, gained more muscles which made things nice and tight and people were REALLY starting to notice.... My first month I hit success club, which is a story for another time but in a nutshell, I signed some other people up for the 21 Day Fix. Month 2, I signed up some more people, some more people I knew and some others that I didn't but were referrals from my first sign ups.... Month 3.... my network kept expanding and I was now getting noticed by aquaintences of aquaintences of aquaintences....
Just by having a little bit of courage to share MY OWN personal health & fitness journey, I inspired others to start too.... Those close to me, knew I was never big into fitness or eating right until recently but it was time....
All I can say is that, of course coaching change MY LIFE but in turn I got to help change a lot of OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES just my saying.... hey check this out, it helped me so much, it could help you too and they did and IT did. I don't need a round of applause but if nothing else know that people are watching.... your family, friends, their friends & family and espescially the little ones, even if YOu yourself don't have any, the ones around you ARE and they need to be led in the right direction by example. I've also lifted a lot of financial burdens off of my family just by helping others. Talk about mental freedom!
{Fast even more forward to present day} I feel awesome.... I really, really, really do and my positivity is radiating off of me to others (this is coming from a previously VERY PESAMISTIC girl). Not only am I helping people just my motivating them to start and keep going.... This is what I call
My Jobnow.... I wake up, I'm excited, I love talking on webinars with my team, checking facebook for the latest and just being social with people, that's what this business is....
So, if you're ready to do something GREAT for yourself and those around you, don't be afraid to ask what this Crazy Coaching thing is all about.... don't wait months like I did. Even if you're just doing it to help yourself, DO IT! and never look back ....well unless you're doing a side by side results comparison :)
What do you have to lose?
P.S. the answer to the above question is weight, stress & frustration ; )

Most of us love and craaaaaave fast food. It makes sense, who doesn't love greasy French fries and burgers.... Ok, I'm straying....
Sometimes we get so busy that we really can't make dinner and have to sucker into the convenience of drive thru's.
Here are some tips....
▶️ avoid the wrap.... Yeah it's better than a burger but tortillas are high in sugar!
▶️ get a salad but make the chicken grilled, not fried.
▶️ get a vinaigrette based dressing, don't go for the dairy types like ranch AND use them sparingly.
▶️ Don't get double meat at places like chipotle, they are high in salt.
▶️ Go for a water not a diet or regular soda, water helps flush things out so it will help with the extra sodium

Want to Cize it up with me???
So last night I was at the grocery store checking out and decided to grab something quick for dinner. I went to Subway and there was lady in front of me who was on her break from work and looked super tired (she also ordered a coffee) and I decided that I've been having a lot of nice things happen lately and it would be really cool to get her weekend started off on the right foot so I said to her....
"I know this sounds weird but I would like to buy your dinner."
She looked at me and said,
"Really?" I went, "yup, I hope that's ok."She hugged me and thanked me a million times.
Pretty awesome.
#PayItForward guys, for no reason at all.

Sooo.... I overslept today....
So now I kind of have that, "I let myself down, now I feel gross and bummed out all day" feeling. Well, I can't rewind the day since my time machine is STILL out of commission.... ridiculous.... but I can do little things throughout the day since today there is no time for a make-up session.
I can go for a couple of walks, maybe adding some extra distance to the mailbox or from the parking lot to the door.... I can make sure I hold my core in tight, because let's be honest, that's something we should do every day to help our posture and do some serious overtime on those ABS! I can choose to take the steps instead of the elevator and maybe pick up the pace when I'm walking around.
One thing I'm DEFINITELY going to do is keep my nutrition on point so I'm not adding to the stress.... I've had to go daaaaays and weeeeks without working out before {enter bad mood here} but it didn't completely reverse my progress because I made sure to watch WHAT I was eating and HOW MUCH I was eating because it's 80% FOOD and 20% FITNESS. Say you workout for 30 minutes to an hour in the morning, how many times do you eat per day? Ideally it should be 6.... 3 FULL MEALS and 3 SNACKS. Considering your workout to food consumption ratio, it's about an 80/20 split so you can't rely on your 30 minute workout to overcome all of the heavy saturated foods you may have consumed that day. Does that mean you can eat healthy and not workout? Sure? But it's not a good idea.... Our bodies are like a car.... just like a car, our fuel is food, which we need to survive or "run". BUT, if we don't drive the car, the parts get "rusty" and after sitting too long they don't function properly.... Our bodies are like that and need movement.... Our heart is a muscle.... it needs to be worked out just like the other muscles in your body. So even if you don't care much about toning up, you need to do what's good for your body and stay active.
On that note, I'm going to go for a walk now!
Stay Awesome!
